Loyalty points, paid for by Smyl.

Customers earn Smyl points when they pay by bank and spend them at your counter. Smyl pays you what they spend.

Loyalty cards cost you twice.

You print the cards, then you pay for the free coffee.

How it works.

  1. They pay by bank

Customers earn 1 Smyl point for every whole £1 they pay by bank, up to a daily limit.

  2. They come back

They spend points at your counter, at the value Smyl sets. Checkout shows them what their points are worth.

  3. You get paid

Smyl pays you the value of the points spent at your shop every month.

What’s included.

  • Points on Pay by Bank sales of £1 or more
  • Points spent at your counter, in the same scan
  • Smyl pays you their value monthly
  • At least £1 of every sale is still paid by bank
  • Points and their value shown in Transactions

On every plan. Listing is free, and your plan starts when you switch on Pay by Bank. Smyl pays for the points. How plans work

Questions about Rewards

Who pays for the points?

Smyl does. You’re paid the value of every point spent at your shop, every month.

Do card payments earn points?

No. Points are for payments made with Pay by Bank.

What if I refund a sale?

The points from that sale are taken back, and points spent on it are returned to the customer.

Do my customers’ points expire?

Customers are told: “Points expire if you don’t earn or spend any for 12 months. Earning or spending any points starts the 12 months again. The 12 months pause while points can’t be spent anywhere on Smyl. We’ll remind you at least 30 days before.” Expired points can’t be spent, so nothing is owed for them.
